The employment specialist is a fundamental part of the Culinary Arts Career Pathways training program and is responsible for fostering and maintaining business relationships with employment contacts, recruiting and job-matching program participants, and executing job readiness workshops.
Food Hero culinary program prepares individuals to provide professional chef and related cooking services in restaurants and other commercial food establishments. Includes instruction in recipe and menu planning, preparing and cooking of foods, the management of food supplies and kitchen resources, aesthetics of food presentation, and familiarity or mastery of a wide variety of cuisines and culinary techniques. Obtain “hands on experience” by participating in an On The Job Training, internships, and work based learning programs with food industry employers. Learn the various technology tools to become more efficient in the kitchen and to adapt to current and future market climates.
